California sealion

California sea lions belong to the eared seal family because, unlike true seals, they have external ear flaps. Males are significantly larger than the yellowish-brown females; their fur is dark brown, and by the time they reach sexual maturity, they develop a well-defined, domed forehead.
Despite their heavy, cylindrical bodies, they move nimbly on land as well. Using their flippers as legs on land, they move faster than humans. They are extremely intelligent, easily trainable animals and popular stars of aquatic shows. At our zoo, they also await visitors with an exciting aquatic show.
